Secretary General of the World Customs Organization visited the Academy of the State Customs Committee
The Secretary General of the World Customs Organization, Kunio Mikuriya, during his visit to our country, attended the Academy of the State Customs Committee on March 16.
While speaking with teachers and students in the auditoriums, the Secretary General was informed about the activities of the Academy, as well as, the forms and directions of education provided here.
It was stated that, currently, one of the significant issues in the rapidly digitalizing world is the provision of information security, and the newly established cyber security laboratory at the Academy creates sufficient opportunities for students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in this direction.
Kunio Mikuriya also observed the paintings drawn by the students and got acquainted with the teaching process in the laboratory where the skills of using technical control tools of the customs officers are improved.
In the end, the General Secretary of the UGT watched the literary and art composition prepared by the students of the Academy on the occasion of Nowruz holiday.
