ASCCA Student Participates in Cyber Summer School 2026
Khanimbaji Jabbarzade, a first-year student majoring in Information Security at the Academy of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (ASCCA), participated in the 5th Cyber Summer School 2026, organized by the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Organizations Association (ACOA).
The camp, held in Mingachevir from 6 to 11 July, was organized in partnership with the National Cybersecurity Center of the State Security Service, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Mingachevir State University. The event brought together more than 100 young participants from 60 regions across the country.
Participants took part in theoretical and practical training sessions in Blue Team and Red Team operations, covering network and web security, cyber defence, cyber threat intelligence, and OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence). The programme also included laboratory exercises, interactive quizzes, team-based activities, and Capture The Flag (CTF) cybersecurity competition.
At the closing ceremony of the six-day programme, certificates were presented to the participants and active volunteers.
It should be noted that the Cyber Summer School 2026 project aims to develop professional capacity in the field of cybersecurity, enhance young people's knowledge and skills, and promote international cooperation.
