Master class on Nanotechnologies held at ASCCA

A master class on the topic “From the Series of Innovative Technologies in the Azerbaijani Oil Industry: Nanotechnologies” was organized at the Academy of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan Republic. The master class was conducted by Eldar Shahbazov, a prominent scientist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor, and laureate of the UNESCO Prize in the field of science and nanotechnology and co-author of the UNESCO encyclopedia.

Delivering an introductory speech, the head of the Academy, Major General of Customs Service, Gulu Novruzov, emphasized the importance of scientific and technological development in the country, particularly the implementation of innovative approaches in the oil industry. He noted that such events make a significant contribution to enhancing the knowledge and skills of young specialists.

Then, a corresponding member of the Ukrainian Academy of Oil and Gas and a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, who holds 14 patents in this field, as well as in the USA, the author of more than 185 scientific works published in European and CIS countries, Eldar Shahbazov, provided detailed information on the application of nanotechnology in the oil industry, modern scientific approaches in this field, and prospective development directions, as well as shared the results of his scientific research with the participants. As part of the event, a video related to the topic was shown, and questions of interest to the participants were answered.

In the end, the author presented his book “Green Energy and Nanotechnologies Against Complications in Oil Production” to the library of the Academy.
