ASCCA Staff Member Participated in the International Conference Dedicated to the Civil Defence Day
The 5th International Conference on “Civil Defence in Modern Conditions: Challenges and Prospects,” dedicated to 1 March – World Civil Defence Day, was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and organized by Academy’s Military Department The conference brought together faculty members and representatives of higher education institutions and higher special purpose institutions from Azerbaijan and abroad, as well as members of the organizing committee, the event was attended by Rahim Babayev, the head of the Department of Maintenance and Technical Services of the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA).
The conference was opened by Colonel Fuad Mehbaliyev, First Deputy Head of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who welcomed the participants and wished them success in the conference proceedings.
Alongside the other speakers, Rahim Babayev, Head of the Department at the Academy, delivered a presentation entitled “The Current State of Existing Shelters, related Challenges and Improvements, and the Necessity of Conducting Practical Civil Defence Training and Exercises on Civil Defense within the Educational Process.”
During the conference, participants discussed current challenges facing in the field of civil defence, emerging issues, and future prospects for its development under modern conditions.
At the end of the event, certificates were presented to all seminar participants.
