ASCCA Hosts “Open Day” for Prospective Students

The Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) organized an “Open Day” event for prospective students as part of its outreach activities for the 2025/2026 academic year. The event aimed to provide detailed information about the undergraduate programs offered by the Academy and to familiarize applicants and their parents with the Academy. The event was attended by the Head of the Academy, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov, members of the Academy’s staff, students, applicants, and their parents.

Opening the event, Major General Gulu Novruzov welcomed the participants and provided comprehensive information about the Academy’s activities. He highlighted the favorable learning environment and modern conditions established for students with the continued attention and support of the leadership of the State Customs Committee. Emphasizing the importance of educating patriotic, highly knowledgeable, and multiskilled young people for the country’s sustainable development, he wished all applicants success in gaining student status.

Then, Islam Huseynov, Head of the Department for the Organization of Educational and Methodological Work, delivered a detailed presentation on the Academy’s academic programs, teaching and assessment processes, achievements, and international cooperation. He also spoke about partnerships with foreign higher education institutions, customs training structures, and other international organizations, as well as ongoing and planned projects.

During the event, participants’ questions were addressed.

At the end, the applicants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves closely with facilities, infrastructure and learning environment created at the Academy.
