ASCCA Representatives Participate in Karabakh SMEs Project Event
An event dedicated to the implementation of the Karabakh SMEs Project in 2025 was held within the framework of a partnership between the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Inkişaf Corporation CJSC, and the National Center for Educational Technologies, with financial support from PASHA Holding.
The event was attended by representatives of relevant government institutions, businesspeople, and business associations, as well as war participants, veterans, and family members of martyrs involved in the project. Among the participants were Professor Jamila Namazova, Deputy Head of the Academy of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (ASCCA), and Elvin Alirzayev, PhD in Economics, Head of the Department of Customs and Management.
In their speeches, Anar Aliyev, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Musa Gasimli, Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis, and Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the KOBIA Board, emphasized the importance of social protection and employment for martyrs’ families and war participants, as well as the social and economic significance of the project.
As part of the event, a charity art auction featuring paintings by children of martyrs was also held.
It should be noted that within the framework of the project, 47 members of martyrs’ families, veterans, and war participants from various regions were involved in business training programs and provided with equipment in their chosen fields by the State Employment Agency.
