ASCCA Hosts Masterclass on Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence

A masterclass entitled “Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence: New Opportunities, New Challenges” was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (ASCCA) as part of the Digital Economy course taught at the Academy, organized by the Department of Customs Affairs and Management.

Delivering the opening remarks, Magsud Gubadli, Lecturer at the Academy, highlighted the impact of digital transformation on public administration, including the customs system, and emphasized the significance of contemporary technological trends for the preparation of future specialists and the development of human capital.

The keynote presentation was delivered by Nurlan Jabrayilov, Manager for Financial and Business Advisory Services at Baker Tilly Azerbaijan. He provided an analytical overview of the application of artificial intelligence in economic processes, business analytics, automation solutions, digital risks, and cybersecurity. Drawing on practical market experience, he also discussed the emergence of new professions and competencies shaped by the digital economy and their implications for the labour market.
