The defense of internship reports and projects of IV-year students at the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) has commenced. Students majoring in "Information Technologies" and "Information Security" specialties, who completed their bachelor's degree in the 2024/2025 academic year, successfully defended their project works related to customs activities assigned during their internships.

The project works in both mentioned specialties was assessed by the Defense Commission, chaired by Asif Ganbayev, a teacher at the Academy's "Information Technologies and Technical Sciences" department. The commission also included responsible employees from the State Customs Committee and teachers from Baku Engineering University.

Delivering an opening speech at the defense session, the head of the Academy, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov, greeted the commission members, provided information about the defense process, and wished the Commission success in its work.

The chairman and members of the commission also made speeches and conveyed their best wishes to the students participating in the defense.

Then, the students made presentations reflecting their projects, research, and analyses in various fields, in accordance with the topics of their project work, and also responded to questions of the commission.

It should be noted that in the 2024/2025 academic year, the defense of project works in the specialties of "Jurisprudence", "Economics", "International Trade and Logistics", and as well as the dissertation defenses for master's level students specializing in "International Economic Law" and "Customs" will be held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee.
