ASCCA hosts event on "Architect of an Independent and Sovereign Azerbaijan"
The event on "Architect of an Independent and Sovereign Azerbaijan" dedicated to the 102nd birth anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee.
The event was attended by the prominent political figure, diplomat, Doctor of Historical Sciences Hasan Hasanov, and Member of the Parliament, diplomat, Doctor of Political Sciences Rizvan Nabiyev, as well as executives, employees, students of the Academy.
Delivering an opening speech at the event, the head of the Academy, Major General of the Customs Service Gulu Novruzov, stressed the importance of studying, researching and passing on the rich heritage of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev to future generations, emphasizing that such events play an important role in educating young people in the national spirit and preserving the traditions of statehood.
The prominent political figure Hasan Hasanov, sharing his memories of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, spoke about the valuable contributions of the Great Leader to the development of industrial potential in Azerbaijan, the creation of a national army, the establishment of the first military higher education institution, the increase of the country's international prestige, and the formation of a national ideology. He emphasized that Heydar Aliyev's political foresight and strategic decisions played a fundamental role in strengthening Azerbaijani statehood.
Speaking at the event, Member of the parliament Rizvan Nabiyev emphasized that Heydar Aliyev's political line is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev, and as a result, Azerbaijan became a leading state in the region. He also noted that the Victory in the 44-day Patriotic War was a triumph of the national strategy defined by Heydar Aliyev.
The event continued with an artistic composition performed by the students of the Academy. Later , Hasan Hasanov donated his books to the Academy.
