A meeting was held at the Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) with a group of applicants from the Shamakhi region.

At the meeting organized to familiarize with the activities of the Academy, the head of the Academy, Major General of the Customs Service, Gulu Novruzov, welcomed the participants and expressed his pleasure to see them at the higher educational institution he leads. Gulu Novzurov provided detailed information about the activities of the Academy and highlighted the conditions created for students at the Academy, thanks to the attention and care of the leadership of the State Customs Committee. Emphasizing the importance of educating patriotic, well-educated youth with comprehensive knowledge for the sustainable development of our state, the head of the Academy wished all applicants the best of luck in their goal of becoming students.

Then, Islam Huseynov, Head of the Department for the Organization of Educational and Methodological Work, made a presentation on the activities of the Academy, the educational process, achievements, partnerships with foreign higher education institutions, customs training structures, and other various international organizations and projects.

The event included a Question-and-Answer session, where the participants were answered questions of their interest.

Finally, the applicants weregiven thorough overview of the conditions and infrastructureavailable at the Academy.
