ASCCA Hosts Master's Thesis Defenses
The Academy of the State Customs Committee (ASCCA) hosted thesis defenses for master’s degree students completing their studies in the 2024/2025 academic year in the International Economic Law and Customs Affairs specializations.
The defenses were attended by Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee, Customs Service Major-General Natiq Shirinov, other senior officials of the Committee, faculty members from Baku State University (BSU) and ASCCA. The specialized Academic Council sessions for the master’s degree level were chaired by Khagani Mammadov, Chairman of the Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, for the International Economic Law specialization, and by Azer Amiraslanov, PhD in Economics and Chairman of the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis, for the Customs Affairs specialization.
Opening the session, the Head of the Academy, Customs Service Major-General Gulu Novruzov, welcomed the guests, provided information about the defense process, and wished success to all participants.
Following the opening, students delivered presentations reflecting their research and analyses in various fields relevant to their thesis topics and answered questions from the academic panel.
At the conclusion of the defenses, the chairs and members of the respective specialized Academic Councils addressed the graduates, congratulating them and wishing them continued success in their future careers.
